| 가슴 떨리는 임신 이야기를 공유해 주세요. | The two week wait to receive the first positive HCG blood test results was nerve-wracking. And then we found out we had to wait for another 2 days for the results of a second test (to confirm the initial test results). After receiving the second positive result, the most thrilling moment was at our 7 week scan when we were able to hear the baby's heartbeat for the first time. |
| 치료 도중 느꼈던 가장 기뻤던 순간과 절망적인 것들은 무엇인가요? 잊지 못할 경험이 있나요? | Happiest moment is a tie between the positive results and hearing the heartbeat. The most despairing moment was having to delay embryo transfer after the egg retrieval first due to a case of OHSS, and then because of COVID. Equally despairing was receiving the negative result after our second round of IUI (before we started IVF). |

| 서울IVF여성의원의 난임 치료에 대해 말씀해 주실 것이 있나요? | All the staff at the clinic were incredibly kind, caring and gentle. They were all very knowledgeable, and Dr Lee especially took the time to answer all our questions and explain all the procedures (in English) to make sure we understood and were comfortable. When during the first trimester we ran into some difficulties, everyone at the clinic went above and beyond to help us get the right treatment and make sure the baby was ok. All of the nurses were super friendly and helpful. One of them, Rosa, speaks excellent English and was always available to help us, but all the nurses even if there English was not fluent all went out of their way to make the entire process as easy as possible. As an example, my wife was nervous about injecting herself with the hormones so when I was away of business, they kindly offered for her to come in and administer the injection themselves. |

They will support and encourage you through any initial setbacks and genuinely have your best interests at heart. Even though it is hard at times, have faith that you have put your trust in the best people to help you through this journey. |

| 난임 기간 동안 도움을 받았던 것들 중 다른 난임환자분들 위해 나눌 것이 있나요? | We would strongly recommend Dr Lee and the Seoul IVF clinic to anyone who is considering assisted conception. If you are worried about conceiving, our advice would be to go in as early as you are comfortable to get the diagnostic tests done so that you know what your options are at the earliest opportunity. |
